Preview — Accounting Game by Darrell Mullis. There are not many books available accpunting the market that make a complex and dry subject understandable and even fun. I took accounting for a whole semester in college and learned less than I learned in the three days it took to work through this book. Yet, in that first year, babies cannot pose questions in the way they will once they learn language. What do you think that means?
Practical, useful, and a wonderful stepping stone for those of us who should, but may not, already know how to use these valuable skills. And the last chapter, where it asks you to use your financial statements to analyze the company and your strategy, was solid gold. It is not an oversimplification of accounting and financial principles.

I finished the book without doing the exercises – which usually means you haven’t learned the material thoroughly – and do plan to reread it a second time, doing the exercises this time. For someone who wants pddf more comprehensive overview of accounting, I would recommend a much more detailed and advanced alternative. Yet, look at all the things you remember from early childhood!

If you like books and love to build cool products, we may be looking for you. Here and there, they weave in scenarios in this ‘story’ where you’re forced to encounter new conceptsconcepts about accounting. A little dumbed down and repetitive, but I’ll take that accountinh day over something unreadable, mundane and dry. Extremely easy to follow, read, and understand;, it actually made accounting fun for me to learn!
I highly recommend it to anyone frightened by either numbers or accountants. A good starter book for anybody interested in basic accounting.
A simple but very easy to understand introduction to accounting using a lemonade stand. It is just one of those subjects that has evaded me most of my life.
